Destruction
There is something about destroying,
a rush, an explosion of expression
that can never be exactly replicated
that sets it apart from creating
something new, something different
something designed to stand against
the test of time. An air of finality
surrounds destruction, while creation
only lends itself to an eventual end.
But that is the very reason creation
exists, futile endeavors in an instant
destroyed to applause and exaltation.
